my Serta Michigan has finally been delivered today.. but still cannot sleep on it until the aircon prob has been solved.. now the mattress is still in the plastic coz we dun it to be dusty should the aircon trunking be required to take down n re-do again.

got a bench, serta sheep, 2 pillows n a mattress protecter FOC. i had the bench done up in another colour coz it's gonna be located in the living room. my MBR has no space for it lor. was given the whole number for the Serta sheep, i requested for No.22, they gave me No.2!!!

looking at my MBR, now really left a super small walking space nia. i voiced out to my hubby actually i wanted to hack the bedroom 2 wall n combine it with MBR. but coz he said no hacking, i nv tell him abt it. deni i told him if we were to hack the wall and combine the rooms, i would haf preferred the bed in bedroom 2 together with a small study area den the MBR will haf built-in wardrobe n cosy/entertainment corner. i will den turn the study room into a guest room instead. hubby listened n nod his head in agreement but i told him all too late liao, coz our reno already completed.

btw, we were having some probs with our hamburger lights in the kitchen. it kept dropping down despite been put back a couple of times. found out dat it was due to a manufacturing fault. we bought them from Designer Lightings earlier n they came by to change it with another design of hamburger lights.

i'm having a nitemare now, coz i've juz discovered dat the box up wall for the air-con trunking in my MBR is dripping water!!!

muz be the aircon ppl used lousy quality piping n now it's leaking n causing the trunking to be wet n dripping water!!

i've gotten my aircon thru my ID OC. Since they have been the industry for many years n has a made a name for themself, i expect the people they recommended for the aircon to be trustworthy n be able to provide good quality workmanship.

but now, my hubby n i are SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!!! nv did i expect my aircon pipe to leak, causing the box up wall to drip water.. and worse of all, the box up wall painting work is peeling coz of the water (i've boxed up all the aircon trunking in the house except for study room). to tink dat i spent all those $$ to make my house swee swee.

now i've to switch on all the remaining 3 aircons in the house n check tml morning if there are any other places dat are leaking.

i dunno how they are going to rectify the problem, i juz wan it to be rectify asap tis week.. can't imagine any further delay will lead to wat other problems or not.

i dun care even if they need to bring down the box up wall n redo everything, i juz wan everything to be rectify n put back into the original state!!

our lovenest is finally gonna be a real home before the lunar 7th mth. fully furnished and ready to hold a house-warming party.

last evening my hubby n i went to Chin Chin at Purvis St. (aka Hainan 2nd St.) for their famous chicken rice and pork chop. arh.. i really missed the place coz tis was when i spent my first 13 years in tis world. lotsa of fond memories during my childhood was from there... we basically knew everyone fm the beginning of the street till the end of the street, even some from the next two streets (my grandparents were the first batch of ppl staying there).. still can remember my late grandma, the powerhouse can shout for my sis n i to com home for dinner and the whole street knows abt it (the distance is abt 20 shophouses away). coz her voice can be heard from the our house (end of the street) till the beginning of the street where we were playing with frens.

haha, sidetrack liao... back to my main topic.. after dinner, we went to Mondi Lifestyle at Furniture Mall to purchase our dining and coffee table. Bought the Novvy black tempered glass dining table + 6 Novvy PU leather dining chairs (at first was tinking of getting PVC leather ones) at $1390 and Epico round swivel black+clear tempered glass coffee table at $499. got a cute little stool worth $89 FOC for spending more than $1000. delivery will be on 04Aug which is a saturday. hope the day com fast fast!!!

it was 8.10pm when we walked out of Mondi Lifestyle. We had to walk like speedy gonzales to marina square coz we need to be there before 9pm as dats the time the Serta Sleep Centre closes for the day. managed to reach there by 8.40pm, made the payment n went to the esplanade for a short walk. my feet already aching n i'm still going for a short walk, i muz be mad (but happy in my heart).

reached home abt 10.30pm, stand almost all the way city hall to sengkang, oni got to seat at serangoon. the train was super crowded coz of the NDP preview. saw some beautiful fireworks though.

end of the mth hubby will be call up ppl to do up the HHS racks... finally a propey storage place for our barang. now all laying at the dining area, heng it will be cleared by the time of our dining table delivery...

btw, i've also confirmed my order for the signature scroll from My Elegant Wedding in Hkg. my flora signature pens was from them to. my hkg fren, Anthony did me a big favour by paying on my behalf first and will hand carry it to SG when he coms for his 3mths attachment with HSBC on 29Aug. haf chased BS for my wedding pics CD return first coz i need to send some pics to My Elegant Wedding for printing on the signature scroll.. BS promised to haf it ready by next week. but the date for seeing album layout is not set yet.. nvm, now the signature scroll is my priority.

i'm a real happy person now!!!

can't imagine wat kind of luck i'm having rite now!!! problems are arising with my MBR toilet!!

first, the big pipe at the ceiling, connected fm the upstairs unit is leaking, and it has been going on for 2 weeks before i knew where it originated from.

i nearly tot my house got mysterious ppl. choy!

now, i can even hear water dripping slowly but see no water at all

walked all over the MBR toilet n still can't find the source.

so i went to open the MBR toilet door exactly 5mins ago coz i wan to ask my hubby to come n check the source of the dripping water sound... when i was pushing the door lock downwards, the stupid toilet lock came off!!

now my MBR toilet door cannot close liao!!

how to bathe n do business liddat, heng nw oni my hubby n i staying n we still got a common toilet to use. tml first thing muz call TO again, make sure tis sat the contractor come n fix the door lock also.

why why why???? within a week so many problem with the MBR toilet!! why oni my toilet?????

haf decided to get a signature board aka guest book for my wedding... will be getting it from My Elegant Wedding, the same webbie where i've gotten my flora signature pens. the cost will be HKD600, abt SGD120. i koe the price is high but my wedding is once in a life time, so i want something memorable. i'll frame up the signature board after my wedding n hang it up somewhere in the house.
actually, i would like to have our initial to be designed as Logo on the signature board but it'll cost an additional HKD600 and i'm not prepared to pay for it. will juz haf our names n wedding date, on top of our PS pics on it. as my classmate is interested in getting the signature board, i've negotiated for a 5% discount if we confirm our order by end of tis mth. processing time will be abt 3-4weeks. will also save the shipping charges coz i'm gonna ask my fren for a favour to hand carry it to SG when he coms over for work attachment in Sept. juz in time when the signature board is ready!

yesterday went shopping for dining table and coffee table with my hubby at furniture mall @ beach road. shortlisted 2 dining tables and a coffee table from Mondi Lifestyle and a dining table from Lorenzo. oni managed to get the dining table pics, but not the coffee table pic from Mondi Lifestyle website, can find the dining table pic in Lorenzo website though. the price between the Mondi n Lorenzo dining table is $1 nia.. Mondi table at $1250 n Lorenzo table at $1249. both comes with 6 chairs.

the coffee table i like is round one with 2 other moveable round tops. it comes with both clear n orh orh tempered glass.. uber matching with the orh orh dining table n my sofa. but at first hubby say no to the coffee table coz the price was $499 as he wanted something below $400. managed to psycho him coz we actually liked a more expensive dining table at Lorenzo but the price will be $1834.. abt $100 more than the combined price of the $1250 dining table n $499 coffee table. so hubby finally said yes to the coffee table. most important, he said 'bcoz u like the coffee table'.

most prob we'll be getting the black orh orh dining table coz hubby dun really like the oval one. moreover, it doesn't match our dining lights.

will get another type of black leather chairs instead of the ones shown in the pic coz both hubby n i dun like chairs with chrome legs.. sooner or later sure kenna rust one lor. but i chairs at Lorenzo coz can choose those bench types leh. how how how????
