Got no budget for wallpaper so bo pain bought some nice nice de-cals from WINK to beautify my place. cost mi $59, hope it's worth the $$. haven really tink of where to stick them but haf shortlisted some areas liao.

here's the design that I've ordered. it will be delivered in 2-5 working days... looking forward to seeing them.

Mr. Lau from Hafary was beri efficient!! he told mi yesterday evening dat he'll get back to mi at 11am today. but at 9.45am, i already received a call from him liao. GOOD NEWS!!! they still have the tiles i wanted in stock can stick to my original plan of hacking the study room wall liao.

the cost of the tiles was $1.80/psf but Mr. Lau said he'll give me a 20% discount. so 1 pc of tile will be $2.50, dunno is after discount or b4 discount. aiyo, haf discount anot is not impt, wat's more impt is there is stock. have reserved 16pcs of tiles, 4pcs extra for juz in case. shall collect is tis coming sat at Hafary since it's near my place.

i've called the HDB tiles contractor Ah Tee tis afternoon coz i wan to buy tiles to replace the affected area aftwe we are hack our study room wall but Ah Tee told mi he got no stock in his storeroom at Blk 298 liao so he told mi to get from his directly supplier Hafary at Defu Lane and gave mi Mr Lau's mobile. so i called Mr Lau who quickly checked for mi... end up he said the tiles was ordered last aug, maybe dun haf same colour liao. but will double check and get back to mi tml morning to confirm whether have the stock anot. if sway sway he dun haf the same colour tiles anymore i also dunno how liao. wan to faint already.

my hubby said if really dun haf the tiles den dun wan to hack the study room wall liao told my ID who suggested dat i use similar coloured tiles but hubby n mi cannot accept tis lor. so ID said let the entrance remain at the original position and still hack the walls but nt all the way to the floor. tis way we wun need tiles and still can make the study room mei mei

hope Mr. Lau can give mi good news tomorrow.

during lunch time on friday, i received a call fm SK branch office TO dat the defects rectification for my flat is completed. Yipee!! so i can go n check to see if it is satisfactory, if ok then can collect my keys back liao.

so i requested an hour time off from my GM to go off at 5pm. otherwise if knock off at 6pm, by the time i reach SK will be quite dark liao... can see nothing lor. reached my nest around 6pm, saw dat they have changed all the rusty sanitary wares to new ones liao... but hor, i'm changing everything for both my toilets. wonder if can remove the taps and keep for future use anot. the bolt holes for the main gate and door also done. one thing they nv change is the rusty SCV points for my living room and MBR but i can make do with dat since ID will be shifting and changing it.

yesterday morning, i went with hubby to our nest again. let him check to confirm everything ok b4 we go down to collect back our keys. so he see see look look confirm liao den off we went to SK branch office.

so our reno gonna start on 02April, which almost 2mths after we collected our keys from HDB. ID will apply for hacking permit next week and i'll need to call HDB contractor to buy tiles liao. time to get busy busy!!!

I'm changing the brand of my hood, hob and sink+tap. Coz i found a better deal. Shall use the $200 deposit with Bellari to get a sink+tap for my common toilet.

For hood and hob, i'm switching fm Bellari to Turbo. Savings ---> $144

For my kitchen sink+tap, i switching fm Bellari to Kressler matt surface s/s sink and tap fm another brand (no pic available). savings ---> $64

Total Savings: $210!! enough for mi to get a piece of tempered glass backing for my hob n still got extra $30 left.

our intial plan for the study room was to install a 2-leaf 10mm tempered glass sliding door which will cost us ard $1.2k. but after my hubby insisted that the dining table to be put outside the study room (which was the actual dining room) instead of the other side of our living room, we decided hack and shift the study room entrance from the center to the right. 10mm tempered glass will be replacing the concrete wall. tis is costing us $2k+. simply coz the dining table is going yo block the study room entrance and i see no point in it.

reno should start ard mid month as SK branch office has advised dat the defects will be done by next week at the earliest.

btw, we are hacking away our kitchen n service yard floor tiles coz i simply can't stand the beige coloured floor tiles against grey coloured wall tiles. a total mis-match lor. if possible and budget allows, i hope to hack off the kitchen wall tiles too coz grey is such a gloomy colour.
