was on the way to the river angbao when i stopped by marina square with my mum as we were supposed to wait for my sis n nephew. window-shopped for a while at barang-barang before we stepped into a shop call BearyHip which sells animal plush toys of various sizes. tink this shop originated fm Hkg, saw an outlet at Langham Place when i was on holiday during Mar06. few years back, my fren fm Hkg also gave mi some cutesy animal door knob cover which was bought fm this shop.

i was standing in front of a display table and holding on to a cutesy pig plush toy when the salesgal told mi dat it was actually a neck pillow. i tot it was oni a display plush toy. to my surprise, it can be converted to a neck pillow when u released the strap which holds on to it's tummy. oni $16.90! there is even a bigger size one which could be converted to a normal sleep pillow at $29.90. Cool! so many to choose fm, cow, dog, ladybird, sheep, turtle, pig, etc. i decided to get a $29.90 pillow as it looked more comfortable, chose a pair of cows. reason being... cow sounds the same as my hubby's surname "Kow". so now the pair of cows is Mr. & Mrs. Kow. there's even a 10% discount as a pair will cost over $50, also gotten a free membership card. Normal purchases is entitled to 10% discount and purchases during birthday month is entitled to 20% discount.

Ladies and Gentleman, i present u... Mr. & Mrs. Cow! see my bedsheets, also Mr. & Mrs. Cow. i'm crazy for cow!! where should i put them?? on our marital bed, UFO loveseat or leather sofa?

bought a roman mop at $39.90 fm the salesman outside the guardian pharmacy at kovan, comes with an extra sponge free. haf saw the salesman at carrefour a few months back but did not purchase it until i saw the demo with my mum. according to the salesman, the sponge can last 2yrs before it needs a change. i hope it's true. have seen the fake roman mop selling at iEcon, oni $4.. but see the price confirm the quality will be lousy lor.

tis roman mop shall be used exclusively for my balcony. as we are not installing windows for the balcony, the floor will sure be wet whenever it rain. confirm will be bad especially during the monsoon season. if the roman mop proofs to be good, maybe will get an extra one for normal use.

We'll be installing aluminium window grilles for our 3 bedrooms, study and service yard. have shortlisted the below 3 designs. wanted wrought iron initially but the cost is much higher. maybe i'll ask the window contractor how much the same design will cost if made in wrought iron.

have shortlisted the following wrought iron window grille design for my balcony... hmmm, we are 95% sure that windows will spoilt the look of the wrought iron grilles so not gonna install any window at the balcony... but 5% is tinking abt the trouble i'm gonna haf during the rainy season. windows or no windows for balcony??

last dec, i had placed order at Best Denki for a Pioneer Home Theatre System HTP-GS1 and it was delivered today. was actually supposed to be last sun but i changed it to tis week coz last week busy being a maid at our nest. the system is actually designed specially for XBox but can also be for normal use. it has a very powerful sound system which wowed both hubby n mi. so we decided dat we'll get this system for our nest although both hubby and mi dun play with Xbox. not too expensive, oni $499. hmm.. we still need to get a DVD player, else how to use it with the home theatre. now my room is getting more n more cramped with the barangs for my nest.

today has been a busy day for mi... my sis n i were baking pineapple tarts all the way from 11.30pm to tis morning 8am!!! tink we've gotten 5bottles of pineapple tarts in all , excluding those with the base burnt. den my sis n i had to bring my mum's taiyo induction cooker to the service centre at Defu Lane (oni 5mins away by cab) coz we tot it was spoilt. actually it's working well, juz dat we suaku dunno induction cooker die die muz use stainless steel pot. heng i nv scold the person upside down. *phew* walked all the way out to the main road coz NO CAB in sight!!! nearly wan to faint fm the heat of the sun. reached home, had a quick lunch and off i went to my nest. the guy from SP Service was coming to officially turn on the water n power between 2-3pm. he was already waiting at the door when i appeared at 2.15pm with my mum n nephew in tow. btw, i tink my opp neighbour's daughter quite friendly.. twice she saw mi, she said hi. which is a good sign.

actually wanted to mop the place again but decided not to in the end coz HDB will be starting the refectification work for the defects. the place will be dusty and dirty again lor. so off we went home coz i'm meeting ID 5pm at his office to pass him the documents for reno loan. tis time we were 10mins early, so hubby n mi popped over to Cellini. finally seeing the beloved UFO Loveseat again after abt 3mths!!! couldn't resist the temptation and told hubby i die die also must buy the Loveseat today. so i enquired with Nicholas (the sales exec) if there is any further discount (current price is $1300, U.P. was $1500). he said no at first den suddenly said can give a further discount. was simply estactic to hear dat coz after the further discount, the price was only $1120. tis is oni $20 more than the price of the small Loveseat (this Loveseat got 2 sizes, S and XL). without much hesitation, we paid a deposit of $350. at first i wanted to choose red colour for the upholstery, but will decide oni later since Nicholas said there is new fabric coming in Mar.

this morning, i went to my new place with my mum. juz want to double confirm the defects b4 i draft out the defect list to submit to HDB branch office in Sengkang. to my horror, i found even more defects. found 4pcs of cracked wall tiles in the kitchen and more than 35pcs of cracked wall tiles in the common toilet. there are also many wall tiles stained with cement. coz there are so many cracked wall tiles in my common toilet, i'll request to the HDB branch office to hack and re-lay all 4 walls. my mum by chance discovered that the bottom of the common toilet PVC door is spoilt. got wood/plastic shavings dropping out. in my MBR toilet, there is also cracked wall tile but only one. even b4 i left at 4.30pm, found another defect or should i say problem... the service yard lourved window lever lock is slanted to one side, dunno will break off or drop anot.

btw, here's the other side of the doorway with the hole for the main gate bottom bolt missing and also the consumer unit with cover that it spoilt.
