we finally placed order for our washing machine today liao... went down with my hubby to Best Denki as Plaza Singapure after work last wed.

we were tinking of buying Toshiba DD Inverter washing machine, but after walking around.. we couldn't find it. so we checked with the salesman. he told us the Toshiba DD Inverter washing machine has been discontinued. asked him y n he said most prob due to the cost and not really dat energy saving (also used 500W which is same as normal washing machine).

so the salesman recommended Fisher & Paykel to us, it's also using DD (direct drive motor) and uses on 200W i/o the normal 500W. i knew tis is a good brand but it's also expensive lor.. saw the model GWC12 is quite good, it's selling at $798 which is above our budget (my mum oni sponsoring $600 leh), so i told my hubby to pay $198 himself. we've gotten an additional $20 off coz we didn't wan the free gift (Tuscano organizer set), so the final price was $778. had wanted to arrange for tis sat delivery but they oni deliver 5-7pm for sengkang area. i got bridal shop appointment, so changed the delivery to 02june which is the following sat. can't wait to see my washing machine!!
