ID called mi tis evening to tell mi wat's gonna happen in the next few days.. tml the painters are coming to do the final painting. final washing will be on sat and next monday carpenters will do final touch-up. our curtains, string curtains and roller blinds will also be installed on the same day. all tis means our renovation is coming to an end. tink of it now, i'm sure gonna miss our reno days. during tis period, i've learnt alot of things from tis forum and also from my ID. really muz thank u all!!

oni 2 pictures today...

my MBR wardrobe is finally completed liao.. it's nice but i tink there are things to be improved. haven already spoken to ID abt it and hope he can find the solutions. tink i'm too picky liao.

wardrobe sliding door problems which needs to be improved
- doors very shakey whenever we slide it open/close.
- when the doors are closed, the gaps in the center very big (i scared got insect crawl inside)
- the door on the right dun look straight, looked abit curve in the center. dunno izit the door cannot support the pressure of it's own weight due to the thickness. i tink if it's thicker den wun haf suck problem.
- the furry strip attached to the door is white/cream coloured, i prefer it to be black coz our wardrobe is dark walnut colour.

MBR wardrobe


i took a pic of tis mechanism fm my mum's wardrobe (bought fm furniture shop) at my sis place. when we slide the door close, the mechanism will lock the door in place. ID said tis mechanism oni possible if the wardrobe is bought off the shop and not custom-made.


i also told ID dat there are some other things which needed improvement too.

1. kitchen tall cabinet - cannot fully close, can see the drawers from the gap.
2. kitchen sliding doors - needs built-in handles (i dun wan to leave fingerprints on the tempered glass)
3. study room tempered glass door - need to put a rubber strip coz there's still a small gap when it's closed. (i dun wan the cold air to escape when the air-con is on)
