there was a small hoo-haa on friday coz the delivery guy from Designer Lightings sent us someone else order. they came over n changed the lights on friday nite itself. ID said beside lights installation, tempered glass will be installed. was supposed to be friday too but they couldn't make it.

i was like a maid on the LRT on my way to Compassvale yesterday morning. I've got 3 plastic bags (containing clipsal switches + LCD TV bracket + drinks) and a recycle bag (FOC from PureMilk) with my own barangs. the group of electricians and ID was already there when i reached around 10.15am. tink they came at 10am.

electrician saw my clipsal switches and asked if i've bought 2 nos. of 4-gang switch. i told him i've bought oni 1 no. as i've counted all the switches b4 getting them. den he said i forgot to count the dining light coz LBox+balcony+dining needs 4-gang as LBox will occupy 2 out of the 4-gang. alamak, i totally forgotten abt the dining light and bought a 3-gang.. even told electrician i dun have dining light earlier on. he also said the TV point i've bought can't be used. so i quickly went home, took the receipt and rushed down to Jlb Besar to change the switch. kaoz, the shop not open!!! so i went to 2 other distributors Joe Li and CCM. really down on luck sia, both said the white colour 4-gang switch muz order in advance den haf. wasted my time, 2hours travelling to n from!!!

called ID for help and he said i can pass to electrician who'll settle for mi. so i passed the 3-gang switch and TV point to electrician. he had called his supplier earlier on and managed to get the 4-gang switch (last piece!!) for mi. he wanted to asked his supplier to change but the supplier reject coz of cost and stock problem. so electrician bought the 4-gang switch instead and he'll take over my 3-gang switch and TV point. switch problem finally solved!

all the lighting points was up around 2pm and the group of electricians left after they finished plastering the gaps around the lights. i later discovered they missed out the balcony light, the gap was not plastered. will need to tell ID to get his painters to help mi plaster it up before they touch up the painting works.

by 2.30pm, i SMS-ed ID as there was still no sight of the tempered glass people. he replied dat they'll come at 4plus. so i went over to Compasspoint for lunch while waiting for my mum who came over around 4pm with my nephew. we shopped around until 5.30pm before taking the LRT back top my nest, i wanted to give them some time to install the tempered glass mah. who koes the lock was still in the exact position i've left it earlier on. sian lor... we went in and walked around and left at 6.15pm, still nobody appeared. SMS-ed ID again and he assured mi dat the tempered glass will be installed, ask mi to go home first.

tis morning my hubby n i went our nest again. the tempered glass c/w swing door in my study room has been installed. tempered glass swing door for kitchen 2nd entrance and shower screen also installed liao. i've forgotten to take my digicam along, so no photos of the tempered glass.

anyway, here's the photos of the lights.

our Clipsal C-Metro series switches. electrician said i'm the first HDB owner he seen having tis series of switches installed coz it's quite expensive. haha.. he beri 'kua chang' leh.
