i called my HDB TO Ms Ng this afternoon, she confirmed dat the top part of the service yard is considered as a beam, so can't drill a hole unless we be beri careful and muz take responsibility for anything dat happens. anything we wan to do to the service yard wall (eg. remove the door or window, knock away the kerb) will require a permit.

after all the hoo ha on the gas piping, the verdict now is to route the gas pipe to the service yard wall, go down below and make a big u-turn to the below the original spot. ID will box-up the gas pipe.

tml after the CityGas sub-con coming to do the pipes. haf informed ID to be there, coz i dun really koe the exact position where the gas pipe should stop at.
