today has been a busy day for mi... my sis n i were baking pineapple tarts all the way from 11.30pm to tis morning 8am!!! tink we've gotten 5bottles of pineapple tarts in all , excluding those with the base burnt. den my sis n i had to bring my mum's taiyo induction cooker to the service centre at Defu Lane (oni 5mins away by cab) coz we tot it was spoilt. actually it's working well, juz dat we suaku dunno induction cooker die die muz use stainless steel pot. heng i nv scold the person upside down. *phew* walked all the way out to the main road coz NO CAB in sight!!! nearly wan to faint fm the heat of the sun. reached home, had a quick lunch and off i went to my nest. the guy from SP Service was coming to officially turn on the water n power between 2-3pm. he was already waiting at the door when i appeared at 2.15pm with my mum n nephew in tow. btw, i tink my opp neighbour's daughter quite friendly.. twice she saw mi, she said hi. which is a good sign. actually wanted to mop the place again but decided not to in the end coz HDB will be starting the refectification work for the defects. the place will be dusty and dirty again lor. so off we went home coz i'm meeting ID 5pm at his office to pass him the documents for reno loan. tis time we were 10mins early, so hubby n mi popped over to Cellini. finally seeing the beloved UFO Loveseat again after abt 3mths!!! couldn't resist the temptation and told hubby i die die also must buy the Loveseat today. so i enquired with Nicholas (the sales exec) if there is any further discount (current price is $1300, U.P. was $1500). he said no at first den suddenly said can give a further discount. was simply estactic to hear dat coz after the further discount, the price was only $1120. tis is oni $20 more than the price of the small Loveseat (this Loveseat got 2 sizes, S and XL). without much hesitation, we paid a deposit of $350. at first i wanted to choose red colour for the upholstery, but will decide oni later since Nicholas said there is new fabric coming in Mar.
